Summary

This role has the ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems /projects of moderately complex scope. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems / projects of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

• Implements end-user technology, enterprise infrastructure, applications or services of moderate complexity, partnering with other business or IT engineering teams on more complex solutions.
• Applies technical knowledge to operate, administer and support infrastructure or software platforms and user groups of moderate complexity.
• Installing and maintaining operating environments.
• Monitoring operating environments.
• Responding effectively and speedily to any problems.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.
• Ensuring operating environments stay safe and secure.
• Updating any hardware and operating systems where necessary.
• Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong experience with infrastructure environments (e.g. operating system, hardware, data center, security, network, voice, end user and server / web related applications). Strong experience with business IT applications (e.g. supply chain, customer relationship mgmt, HR, finance). Experience in scripting and / or programming language. Experience with implementation, problem analysis and solutioning of infrastructure and business application environments. Foundational knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reference model.
