Summary
We currently have an Industrial Engineer Intern position available at our Lathrop Manufacturing Facility in Lathrop, CA.? This position will assist the Lathrop Facility in daily operations and improvement of the material handling systems.? The position is a full-time internship starting in 2022.?
Key Responsibilities

Duties provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge to college students in pursuit of an industrial engineering degree.
? Focus will be on operation and optimization related to the production of GAL-Xe ONE, blending, bagging, and warehousing of all granulated fertilizer produced at the facility
? Collect and analyze data on movement of people and materials to identify bottlenecks in production and storage.
? Performs routine aspects of process engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision
? May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
? Collects and prepares data for evaluation.
? May assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations
? Handles various administrative duties
? Provides support to staff members as needed
Typical Education
Working toward a BS in Industrial Engineering
Relevant Experience
? Strong attention to detail
? Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
? Able to keep up in a fast paced work environment
? Fluent in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
